REHABILITATION
Exercise physiology supports people before and after surgery, after sports or work injuries, following motor vehicle accidents, and under self-managed or plan-managed NDIS plans. For example, accredited exercise physiologists create safe, evidence-based exercise and rehab programs. This helps you recover faster, reduce pain, build strength, and improve your daily life.
PERSONAL TRAINING
An exercise physiologist designs safe, effective exercise programs for everyone — no matter your age or fitness level. They show you exactly how to do each movement properly. During sessions, we may give basic dietary tips too. For example, simple advice on eating to boost energy, aid recovery, or help manage conditions.
TAILORED GROUP TRAINING
After your initial consult with an exercise physiologist, feel free to join a group. You'll do your own tailored exercises with supervision the whole way. If you’d rather keep it private, we can make a group just for you. Either option works - we’ll help you choose what suits you best.
HOME VISITS
We do home visits for exercise physiology if you live within about 8 km of our Burwood location. For example, this is perfect if you have your own gym gear at home or just prefer training in your safe, familiar space. We customise the session to fit what works best for you.
TELEHEALTH
Telehealth is always an option at The Garage EP. You can talk to us and get professional exercise physiology guidance right from home or work — no travel needed. For instance, book a session just to chat about your needs and walk away with a custom routine. This makes it simple to stay on track with your health goals.
